Brian
Professional Photographic Artist
Brian has been a photographer for the past 12 years and joined Lace
in the fall of 2004. After photographing weddings on his own, he
decided to join Lace as a professional wedding photographer while
starting his own business specializing in families and children.
Brian has a degree in Art Studies and a Bachelor's in Marketing.
He also studied architecture for several years. His style of
photography is one of "sophisticated simplicity". His quick and
anticipatory photojournalistic ability allows him to successfully
capture the gracefulness and beauty in everyday situations in unique
and intriguing ways. He has a knack for seeing things that others may
not, or simply seeing them differently than the norm. This is
prevalent in his photos and it makes viewers of his work stop and take
notice.
Blessed to be able to creatively capture images in Switzerland,
London, Vancouver, B.C., Louisville, Las Vegas, Miami and Chicago,
Brian's portfolio continues to expand with images of weddings,
engagements, portraiture and his own personal projects.
As an account executive with an advertising/promotion agency in
St. Louis, Brian is surrounded by the creative process on a daily
basis. This wealth of creativity continues to inspire and fuel his
desire to better his craft and further expand his love of photography
and art in general. He has won several awards for his photographic
work and continues to compete in contests on a semi-regular basis.
Brian resides in St. Louis County with his wife and daughter and
one on the way. He and his family volunteer with local charities and
different causes; and they help to support those efforts annually. He
enjoys sharing his vision with others and hopes that they find as much
pleasure and inspiration from it as he does.
This is clearly evident in his easy going attitude, up-beat
personality and, of course, his photography. His love and appreciation
for the simple things in life, as well as his faith in God, the
goodness in people, and in life, help keep him grounded...and
growing.
